Each letter is shaped a certain way that creates non-obtuse angles. The number corresponds to how many non-obtuse angles exist in the letter.
If you look at the diagram here, each time an angle can be draw into the letter, it counts as 1. Therefore, “L” creates one angle, “I” creates no angles, “N” creates 2 angles, and “T” creates 2 angles. The answer to last week’s brain teaser is “2”.
Alternatively, it is arguable to say that the numbers represent the number of times two lines touch each other. Using this logic, the alternative answer would be “1”.
