UNLOCKED: Escape Room is actively monitoring the novel Coronavirus (COVID-19) situation. The health and safety of our players and staff are our number one priority.

What is COVID-19?

The COVID-19 is a novel virus in the class of coronaviruses that is currently being spread across the globe. It can be spread person-to-person through close contact within 6 feet or by respiratory droplets. For more information on the COVID-19, please visit the CDC website. What are we doing about it?

Your safety and the safety of the staff are our number one priority. We are currently following CDC recommended guidelines for business operations and other strategies to reduce risk.

  • Private bookings: UNLOCKED: Escape Room has never had public games and will not have public games for the forseeable future. This will ensure that the group you are playing with are individuals that you know.
  • Health: As with regular operations, we state that game masters do not work if they are feeling sick. This is not limited to the symptoms of COVID-19, but any other symptoms that are indicative of illness. Social distancing will also be conducted.
  • Cleaning: Prior to each booked game, we will be performing cleaning and disinfection with all surfaces and props. We will also be using disposable wipes to clean door knobs, handles, etc. This will occur for every game reset and also during opening and closing of the day.
  • Time between games: We have adjusted our schedule to allow additional time between games for cleaning procedures.
  • Prevention of transmission: Our games have been equipped with HEPA filters with UV sanitization. Players are required to wear masks during their time at UNLOCKED: Escape Room, and hand sanitizer will be available onsite for usage during the games.

Again, UNLOCKED: Escape Room is committed to prioritizing the health and safety of our players and staff. We will continue to perform these measures as we monitor the governing agencies on the status of COVID-19. Please be cognizant of the content you read regarding COVID-19; there is a lot of misinformation and we encourage you to follow the CDC and the WHO for further updates.

Update: UNLOCKED: Escape Room has temporarily shut down due to the stay-at-home order by the state. Moving forward, UNLOCKED: Escape Room will be monitoring county tier designation to inform us of the appropriate time to reopen.
